Werewolves can hunt for metals, gems and insects, when they hunt in packs with at least one other werewolf they find several (rare!) collectibles (alone they find only one or two at a time). Witches have a conversion ritual spell that turns a collectible into a random other collectible and Faeries can make plants bloom so you can harvest them almost immediately.
While every Sim can learn this skill, some of the supernaturals have some advantage with the collecting aspect. Gardening and Fishing skills are also important, and don’t forget the Collection Helper Lifetime Reward. Ingredients range from any type of food ingredient to super rare insects.
